The scene that I am choosing was the scene where Montag was reading the poem to Mildred’s friends. I am doing this from the perspective of Mildred.
What is going on, what is Montag doing?!?!? Why is Montag doing this to me, it was enough for him to bring the books home, but then to turn off our ‘family’? Oh no, he is getting a book out, please don’t read it Montag. “ Montag, what are you doing, please stop, you are a fireman.” Montag replied “These ladies are ignorant, they know nothing, it serves them right.” I don’t know what is going on, I really hope that nothing bad will happen. Montag started to read, the ladies started to cry. After what seemed an eternity, Montag stopped reading. “Come on lets get back to our ‘family’!!” I was hoping for the best, but the best wasn’t going to happen. “Sorry Mildred, I am going home, your husband is terrible!!!” said Ms. Black. “I am never coming over here again. You can come to my house to see the ‘family’ but I will not come over here” “Montag…what have you done now???"

Austin,
I think that this expresses the fear in that scene very well. You really did a good job of showing here worry.
My only recomendation would be to go back and reread it, because not all of it is from Milldred's perspective. Sometimes you slip and say "Mildred thought..." etc.
Good job
Kit
I like this one a lot. I can definatly see the fear, and even more so the surprise and confusion that Mildred is feeling. Great description, I really think this scene would be more interesting from Mildred's point of veiw, or maybe even one of her friends. On a side note, did you watch Lost yet???

Austin I thought you did a good job on this because of the fact that you added other people speaking too. I haven't read anyones that had that and I though it was very creative. Good Job! -Chance
